No, we do not customize the Cub’s weight.
How did you determine 4 pounds was the right weight for the Cubs?
The 4-pound weight was intentionally selected to provide effective Deep Touch Pressure, offering enough weight to support nervous system regulation while remaining comfortable and accessible for individuals experiencing grief, trauma, and emotional distress.
Do all hospitals offer a Comfort Cub to parents who lost a child?
Many hospitals offer a Comfort Cub to a parent who lost an infant. If your hospital does not currently offer a Comfort Cub, please let us know by emailing us at info@thecomfortcub.org
I am a parent who lost a child, how can I get a Comfort Cub?
We are so deeply sorry for your loss. We know nothing can take away the pain, but it is our hope that the Comfort Cub can offer a small measure of support during this time. You can request a Cub by clicking here.
How much does it cost to ship a Comfort Cub?
We ship individual cubs via USPS Priority Shipping Flat Rate. You may look at the USPS website for rates.
What is your shipping rate for a case of Cubs?
We use FedEx to ship cases of cubs. FedEx rates vary depending upon shipping location.
Do you provide any discounts?
We offer tiered, discounted pricing based on volume to support organizations in reaching more individuals with the Comfort Cub.
